As you know, the climate can be both comfortable and…challenging. Spring and autumn are lovely, with pleasant temperatures and moderate humidity. Overall, April and May are fantastic times to get to the shore, go kayaking, ride bikes, play golf, and walk the Arboretum, but October is usually the best of all. It offers more sun, less rain, less heat, and more comfort! The best way to enjoy yourself at home is with your own private oasis, where you have the space you need for relaxing and entertaining, with the protection you want from rain, sun, and insects.
Our Lumino sunroom is very popular with our Virginia customers, and you can guess why: mosquito protection! It also offers full-coverage operable windows so you can close the room and moderate the temperature. Some customers even add air conditioning and happily use their Lumino all through the steamy summer months.
For a slightly more open feel but with equal insect protection, our Dolce screen room might need only a fan to keep you comfortable all summer long. In spring, summer, and fall you can be outside in the Dolce in any type of weather, anything short of a hurricane, really.
